About the role

Operations is the function of delivering the businesses products or services in the highest form of efficiency possible, ensuring everything runs smoothly within anticipated timeframes.

As Landsec’s Operations Academy Trainee, you’ll be working within some of our properties to learn the fundamentals of facilities management, including how the day-to-day operations of the site is run. You’ll also be helping the teams at each site to create wonderful experiences for everyone working, living in or visiting the site. 


About Landsec Academy

The Landsec Academy is our trainee scheme which has been designed to support people who are interested in starting a career in property or embracing a career change. It comprises of:

  • A two-year programme, with the potential to move into a permanent role following completion
  • A relevant academic qualification, which is fully funded
  • Structured rotations across the wider business in teams such as: health, safety & security, sustainability and project management
  • Support from managers, a mentor and a buddy
     

What we’re looking for: 

 

We’ re looking to attract high calibre candidates who can demonstrate great potential, have a strong work ethic and are looking for a role that gives them real responsibility and career development as an alternative to going to university. 

 

Successful candidates should be confident self-starters, who are driven and motivated to deliver results. They’ll need to use initiative and be innovative when the need arises and demonstrate integrity and respect for others. Applicants should also be numerate and have good written and verbal communication skills. 

 

To be eligible you’ll need a minimum of 8 GCSEs.
