Our paralegal apprenticeships are designed to help springboard you into a successful career in the legal world. If you are an A Level leaver or equivalent, you’ll have the opportunity to join our firm as a legal apprentice. An apprenticeship with Kennedys will teach you the skills you will need to work in a legal environment. You’ll be helping our lawyers with their caseload and we’ll be helping you to build your legal knowledge.
The paralegal apprenticeship scheme will give you an introduction to Law.
The scheme will combine learning with working in one of our legal teams helping to build legal knowledge and the skills required to work in a legal environment.
You can expect to be helping lawyers with their caseload.
Typical tasks include: liaising with experts; proposing instructions; chasing for reports and comments; researching case law; opening new matters and taking witness statements.
Kennedys recognises and rewards hard work and therefore apprentices can expect to start on a competitive salary of £15,750
- £18,500 per annum depending on location.
Additionally, you will have one day per week to use as study leave, in order to focus on the learning side of your apprenticeship. This will include a mixture of interactive webinars, and face-to-face study sessions.
This apprenticeship will give you an excellent start to your career in law, with plenty of opportunities available upon completion.
