Job Description:

Reporting to the Activities Manager, you will be responsible for the capture, promotion and sale of high quality images of our clients. You must be organised and have the ability to meet sales targets. The majority of your day-to-day will be spent either on land or in a powerboat, capturing images of guests partaking in a range of activities – dinghy sailing, windsurfing, paddle sports and mountain biking. Throughout the week you will need to update (daily) the promotional tablet and TV unit, which will display the best of your photos.

You will be responsible for generating photo sales and implementing a delivery system to ensure guests receive their photos promptly.

Other duties will include collecting promotional images of our resort and activities for marketing use.

What you will be doing:

Customer Focus

  • Promoting your services at the start of week in the Welcome Meeting
  • Creating a welcoming and encouraging environment for guests to have their photo taken
  • Meeting any special requests from guests e.g. family portraits
  • Attending evening social events e.g. Charity fundraisers to photograph

Operational

  • Daily capture of photographs
  • Daily update of photos on display via TV and tablet
  • Interacting with guests and promoting photos
  • Providing management and Marketing teams with suitable photos for web/marketing use – weekly.
  • Backing up all photographs for marketing use
  • Delivering all photos in a timely manner through an appropriate medium e.g. FTP
  • Maintaining records of all sales and ensuring all payments are made prior to guest departure from resort

Sales

  • Consistently meeting sales targets
  • Using initiative to meet sales targets through promotions, offers and pricing

Qualifications

It is highly desirable that you possess one or more of the following qualifications:

  • RYA Powerboat Level 2
  • First Aid (valid for a minimum of 6 months from posting date)
  • Full, clean UK driving licence

Experience

  • Seasonal overseas experience gained within Beach or Ski Tour Operator    (HD)
  • Relevant / Transferable Work Experience (E)
  • Secure Cash Handling Experience (E)
