Love learning and developing. Love every drop. An exciting permanent opportunity has arisen within our Developer Services team for a Project Engineer.

What will you be doing?


Based at our Cotton Valley site in Milton Keynes, your role will be to coordinate the design and delivery of our water mains for development sites across the West of our region, contributing to the effective management of the relationship between Anglian Water and our housing developers.

Reporting directly to the Programme Manager, you will be the single point of contact for the customer, processing the necessary queries internally and contributing to the maintenance of customer records. As well as this, you'll be validating scheme designs, ensuring the most efficient cost option is used without compromising health and safety and the overall quality of work.

Other work within this role includes generating impact and commissioning plans, progressing scheme review reports through weekly programmes meetings and that all work undertaken is agreed to safety standards.


What do you need?


You will ideally be educated to degree level or equivalent (ideally in a relevant degree such as Engineering). The ideal candidate will demonstrate significant commercial awareness and experience of identifying, developing and managing new business opportunities. You have the ability to build excellent customer relationships and possess strong negotiating and influencing skills. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt and change and to think strategically and analytically. A technical/engineering background would be an advantage
