Join us as a Quantity Surveying Apprentice and from day one you will be working with an experienced team and will be able to make an instant contribution to running a multi-million pound project. Alongside working on site, you will attend Caledonian University where you will work towards a Graduate Apprenticeship in Quantity Surveying. Upon successful completion of the programme, you will obtain a BSc (hons) in Quantity Surveying and a professional qualification with either RICS or CICES.
What does a Quantity Surveyor do?
Quantity Surveyors in Civil Engineering are part of the Commercial Management team. Commercial Management is the process that deals with the financial and legal aspects of Civil Engineering projects. Quantity Surveyors are construction professionals that have a working knowledge of contracts, law, finance, economics, tendering and procurement.
As part of your application, please upload a copy of your Highers certificates (or provisional statement of results). Please upload these instead of a covering letter.
- 3 x Highers (minimum of B,B,C)
- Standard / GCSE Maths grade B (5) or above
- Due to the project nature of our business, Apprentices must be willing to travel and stay away from home when necessary
