Development Representative - Retail

Ankorstore was founded in 2019 and has recently closed a $100 million Series B funding. We already have over 200 employees and want to continue to scale strongly.

About Your Role

  • Contacting not yet registered retailers and get them to open a FREE account with Ankorstore
  • Achieve your KPI of 40 registrations per week as a minimum 
  • Book appointments for either an inside sales or field sales rep to follow-up and help them make their first order. 
  • Ensure the retailer who are registered are aware of the benefits of Ankorstore and their business is relevant to what we offer. 
  • Keeping updated on new brands and products we have listed on our Marketplace 
  • Answering customer queries and sending any additional information by email 
  • Maintain a log of which customers have been contacted, the outcome of each interaction and issues that need to be flagged for follow up
  • Proactively follow up with customers to get their feedback, guarantee their satisfaction and develop ideas for pitch modification to more successfully advertise products
  • Collaborate with professionals from other departments to give feedback from customers on improvements that can be made 
  • Uphold standards of self-motivation, time management and productivity, and maintain a workspace that is clean, organized and professional

What we are looking for

  • Proven track record of working in a high performing sales team. 
  • Familiarity with value based selling techniques.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in new business development strategies and Lead Qualification.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities at any given time.
