What is a Traineeship?
A high-quality work experience placement – shadow members of staff to get real insight and experience.
Work preparation training – learn how to write a CV, search for jobs and gain interview skills
English and maths – You will study English and maths to improve your literacy and numeracy skills if you have not yet achieved a grade ‘C’ or ‘4’ in English and/or maths.

What are my next steps?
Further Education – Upon successful completion of your traineeship, you may be able to apply to progress onto a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in sport
Apprenticeship – A traineeship could be a good stepping stone into a longer-term Level 2 apprenticeship programme, allowing you to continue to develop your skills while you earn.
Employment – Upon successful completion of your programme, you might be able to gain a job in the sports and leisure industry.
