Our Sponsored BA (Hons) Business Management Degree programme means you will combine academic study with real-life-on-the-job learning, spending one day a week studying at the University of Winchester and four days working in Logica. This is a three-year programme and on graduation you will continue your career with us, giving you the chance to apply all that you’ve learned, whilst taking a massive stride forward with 3 years commercial experience under your belt.
Working at Logica
You will receive a starting salary of £13,000 and work in one of our base offices of either Reading or Leatherhead for the duration of the programme. The work will involve working on real live and exciting projects with our clients across a range of sectors where you will gain work experience and the opportunity to develop and shape your career. You’ll also get all the benefits that come with working for an established international organisation.
Studying at the University of Winchester
Gain a BA (Hons) in Business Management and not pay a penny in tuition fees! (we’ll even provide you with everything you need: laptop, phone and books). With successful study you will complete the degree in three years. The first two years are working towards your foundation degree. The final year will ‘top-up’ the foundation degree into a full BA (Hons) in Business Management. It is a seamless process and will see you continuing to build up your knowledge and experience. You will be taught by a highly qualified team of lecturers from the University along with members of our business.
We’re looking for top quality candidates – the kind of people who’ll help us to keep delivering the expertise and excellent service we have become known for around the world.
Academically, this means you’ll need:
300 UCAS points at A-Level achieved during the same academic year (or equivalent) excluding General Studies
At least a C-grade in both GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)
You also need to have the unrestricted right to work in the United Kingdom (unfortunately, we are unable to sponsor work permits for this programme) and be happy to work at our Leatherhead or Reading office, while studying at the University of Winchester.
Beyond that, you’ll need to be confident and reliable, with the drive and resilience to handle the pressures that come from working and studying at the same time.
Our 2012/13 programme will open for applications soon
