Ricoh UK Products Ltd (Stirling) have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Engineering Apprentice to join their team, starting on Wednesday 1st August 2018. This apprenticeship programme will help individuals to establish a career within the engineering sector, and offers fantastic qualifications and work place benefits.

 

Overview

Our Technical Engineering apprenticeship is a four year programme, delivered in partnership with Forth Valley College. During the programme, you will rotate around a number of technical areas to learn key engineering skills and to gain exposure to all areas of the business. The programme is aimed at individuals who enjoy both practical and academic work, and focuses on engineering design, problem solving and project management. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right individual to establish a career within the engineering sector, through college attendance and mentoring from highly qualified, experienced engineers.

 

Method of Study

The first year of the apprenticeship will be based full time at Forth Valley College (Falkirk Campus), where you will complete relevant engineering training, following a technical pathway. The remainder of the apprenticeship will be based at Ricoh UK Products Ltd (Stirling) and apprentices will attend college on a day release basis to complete their studies.

 

Entry Requirements

  • Achieved A* - C in 5 Standard Grades (including English, Maths and Science); and
  • Achieved A* - C in 2 Highers or Advanced Highers* (preferably a Maths / Science based subject) or completion of a relevant Engineering qualification.

*Please note Highers / Advanced Highers must be achieved prior to the apprenticeship start date.
