Spain is famous for its cuisine and stunning Mediterranean beaches, but there is so much more in store! Friendly inhabitants, relaxed lifestyles, world famous art, architecture and a rich vein of history make Spain an incredible gap year destination.

English teaching assistant volunteers will be based at a variety of schools from primary to high school. Volunteers work alongside permanent teachers and help with a range of activities using their English skills to assist both students and staff. They may also become involved in additional activities in the school, such as music, drama, sports and occasional extra-curricular activities and outings. It is a perfect chance to develop your Spanish language ability and indulge in the local cuisine.

The role for Graduates as English teachers involves classes, sports and helping out with other activities on immersion programmes for children aged 10-14. English, outdoors and nature activities are combined, giving an opportunity to get immersed with the local staff and environments. All graduates are offered a training programme during the first week on placement to get you ready and set for an incredibly rewarding experience.

English Assistant placements in Spain help volunteers develop the ability to adapt, think creatively and embrace a new culture, allowing you to experience the wonderful traditions and customs that Spain has to offer.
