HIT Training

HIT Training is the leading specialist training, apprenticeship and Traineeship provider for the UK’s hospitality, hotel and catering industry, and consistently achieves a higher than average success rate of apprenticeship completion.

HIT offers hotel and catering apprenticeships across all sectors – not just chefs, bar staff and waiters, but in sales and marketing roles, banqueting and conferencing, events, functions and outside catering.

Extensive industry experience means that HIT understands the needs of both the business, and the learner. Each and every trainer-assessor employed by HIT has worked in the industry and possesses valuable practical experience, local knowledge and an understanding of what learners and employers each need to be able to forge a life-enhancing, or business-boosting, relationship.

Regionally based and locally focused, HIT offers hotel and catering apprenticeships at all levels and in all sectors; it has supported 40,000 learners at over 7,000 employer sites across the country. More than 70% of HIT apprentices complete their apprenticeships and obtain either a BTEC or City & Guilds diploma.

HIT is committed to continual analysis of the skills gaps in its client organisations and to providing successful, relevant work-based learning programmes and apprenticeships which combine theoretical learning and practical skills. HIT can also access government funding for eligible learners, to help businesses reduce their training cost.
