All about us.
We’re the UK’s biggest water company with 15 million customers across London and the Thames Valley. Customers rely on us every day to provide them an essential service which is a huge responsibility and meets the needs of almost a quarter of the UK’s population.
On a typical day we supply 2.6 billion litres of top quality drinking water and our 350 sewage treatment works treat more than 4.2 billion litres of waste-water. Our 85,000 miles of water mains and sewers would wrap around the world three-and-a-half times!
We’re also at the forefront of innovation in our industry creating renewable energy and powering lots of our sites with sludge and gas we get from processing waste. We call it "Poo Power". We also host the worlds largest floating solar panel farm on Queen Elizabeth II Reservoir near Walton on Thames. We are protectors of the natural environment and manage nature reserves and habitats across London and the Thames Valley.
Alongside the innovations and improvements we make, we never lose sight of our customers. We provide one of life’s essentials and all our work goes to providing a top class service for our customers, while ensuring our bills are affordable.
We are focusing like never before on delivering brilliant services and providing our customers with a great experience. To help us succeed, we’re on the lookout for talented people across our entire region who are interested in helping us to become the best water and waste-water company in the UK.
