Can you deliver justice?
You may have heard of the Crown Prosecution Service (or CPS) but not realised the enormous role we play in society. As the main public service of our kind across England and Wales, we’re responsible for prosecuting criminal cases that have already been investigated by the police, and other organisations. It’s the next stage of the justice process – and a very important one.
We have over 6,000 colleagues working at the CPS, handling a huge number of varied, complex and, often, emotionally challenging cases. So, we choose people for their ability to think objectively, act professionally, show the upmost respect for others and continually strive for excellence.
Our colleagues love working here because of the very real impact they can make on society. But they have also discovered plenty of other benefits too. Like the freedom to use their own judgement, and the chance to experience fulfilling and challenging days. Not to mention the supportive culture that places great emphasis on seeing you make the most of your life – inside and outside work.
