BAM Construct UK
The construction and property services industry has never been more inspiring and dynamic. We’re looking for equally inspiring and dynamic people to be part of its future… and ours.
We are part of Royal BAM Group, employing 22,000 people in 30 countries around the world. One of the larger construction and property services companies, BAM stands out as being rather different. The difference is our people and that’s why #BuildingFutureStars is one of our top priorities.
Designed for school and college leavers, we offer Apprenticeships in a huge variety of areas, such as Construction, Facilities Management, Plant and Support Services to name a few. We offer a range of Apprentice qualifications and did you know that you can even study for a degree while working at BAM? An Apprenticeship with BAM is the ultimate way to earn-while-you-learn.
When do applications open?
Construction Apprenticeships open in September each year, closing in December and start annually in September. All other Apprenticeship opportunities are open to applications all year round.
Shauna Moore Business Administration Apprentice, BAM Plant "My first week working for BAM has been very exciting as I have learnt and seen so many new things. I met many different people that work for the company, including our Dutch colleagues, which was also interesting to see how things work at BAM in another country. BAM is such a friendly environment and every single person I have met this week has given me a very warm welcome. Throughout my first week here I feel I have learnt so much and feel very comfortable here already. I have been to different sites around the UK getting a real insight to what bam get up to and the amazing things they accomplish, it has been great and I cannot wait for the rest of my journey here as I am already enjoying it so much." ...

I have gained valuable knowledge and advice from more experienced colleagues, which has helped me become more confident in my ability to complete practical tasks as well as find faults within domestic and commercial plumbing and heating systems....
I chose to become an apprentice because I wanted a challenge of entering the world of work as soon as possible. So far I'm really enjoying my apprenticeship, having different challenges every day, learning new skills and getting better at overcoming challenges. It’s given me a lot of confidence. This is made possible from the help of my colleagues who have helped me fit in and are teaching me step-by-step what I need to know to become a successful apprentice, which is great....
