Data Administrator Apprentice

The Money Group is a dynamic organisation with 25 internal staff and over 300 self-employed professionals under its umbrella. We operate across multiple departments including data, software and sales and utilise a range of technologies such as Office 365, Power BI, Podeo CRM and Slack. We are committed to innovation and growth, and we’re now looking to welcome a motivated apprentice to join our data team.

Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring data professional to gain hands-on experience while studying towards a nationally recognised qualification. You will begin by supporting the Finance team with data management tasks and gradually expand your responsibilities across various departments including sales and web data.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with data entry, cleansing, and validation tasks.
  • Support the Finance team with data organisation and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales and marketing.
  • Help manage and analyse data from internal systems and websites.
  • Use tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, and Power BI to generate insights.
  • Participate in internal meetings and contribute to data-driven decision-making.
  • Support the scheduling of campaigns and uploading of content when required.

Required skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organised and detail-oriented.
  • Comfortable working with numbers and spreadsheets.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • IT literate with a willingness to learn new tools.

Additionally, the following experience is desirable:

  • Interest in data, technology, or business intelligence.
  • Previous experience with Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Ambitious and driven personality.

Entry requirements:

  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working hours:

35 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 9am – 5pm, Friday 9am - 2:30pm.
