Should I look into doing an apprenticeship after doing my A-Levels as a better alternative (especially financially)to uni?? Would you get a source of income through it? I would like to become a psychologist so could this be a potential route? Thank you

A apprenticeship is a paid job with funded training, however there are some professions that require university level qualifications and a Psychologist is one of those. See

    and

It may be possible to take up an apprenticeship and then investigate an accredited course via distance learning - like Open University courses.
