Hello, my name is Gerson Levy Benjamim, I'm Portuguese and I live in South Norwood. I've been in UK since December 2013. Since I came here I've been looking for an opportunity to study in the IT area because I love everything about computing and technology and in my childhood I learned to use a computer and how to repair it. That's what I do in my spare time but I need to work to help my family pay the bills, so my family and friends told me to look for an apprenticeship because I have a good knowledge of IT and I want to carry on with my studies. I took a course of Informatics Technician and Management (equivalent to year 12 in UK) in Portugal where I improved my IT skills and I learned Visual Basic 6.0 language. I'm a hard worker, enthusiastic, ambitious and a team worker. I'm waiting for a chance to start a career in IT area and I hope that you can help me.

    Hi Gerson

You should be able to do an apprenticeship in IT. Most likely this would be an advanced apprenticeship. These courses lead to a qualification at level 3 which is the same standard as A levels. If you let me know where you live I will identify some training providers for you.
