Is an apprenticeship right for me?

I'm currently doing my A Levels and I'm in my second year at sixth form. Last year I got very disappointing results (BCCE), and after receiving really bad advice from the staff at my sixth form I carried on with my C and E subjects and dropped the other B and C. So now I'm only doing 2 full A Levels and I'm finding it really difficult when applying for universities. I was very focused on going to a Russell Group university, and so now that can't happen I don't think I would like to go to university, and have been looking into apprenticeships, but I don't know which one I'd like to do. I'm very interested in politics and the media, so I was looking into some leadership and management ones, but I just wondered if anyone had any advice.
Dropping to 2 A levels pretty much rules you out of doing a degree at any university. This should have been made clear to you by your adviser!
That being said, if you get reasonable grades in those 2 A levels they will be very useful to you in your future career.
Your logic is sound in now considering apprenticeships. With A levels you should focus in on Advanced and Higher apprenticeships although you will struggle to find many of the latter that accept just 2 A levels.
