Hello, I am deferring my entry for Psychology with Neuroscience BSc and so will be on a gap year. Want to earn money as am moving out to live with boyfriend (will need an income of around £600 per month) however also want to build my skills. Would doing an internship/apprenticeship, for example in mortgages and finances, help or hinder me in my goals? Have a weekend job earning £400 per month. Unsure of what I would like to do with my career, however am considering something to do with computing/computer science. Is there anything that would fit my current situation? Kind regards, Ellie Cain

    Hi Ellie

Doing an apprenticeship for a year would certainly be a productive way to fill in that gap.
I'm not sure that potential employers would agree with me though!
