Construction Apprenticeships plus Civil Engineering and Surveying Training Jobs

There are some terrific opportunities in this sector as many of the UK’s largest construction and engineering companies have well developed programmes in which one can gain industry-recognised qualifications and get paid while you learn.

Typical work experience opportunities cover the full gamut of construction roles at Apprenticeship Level 2 and 3 NVQ diploma range, the Shared Apprenticeship Scheme (level 3), Higher Apprenticeships (level 5 and BTEC qualifications) and Specialist Apprentice Programs in conjunction with trade associations. Example trades include: brickwork and bricklaying, carpentry, joinery, painting and decorating, general construction operations, plastering, plumbing interior systems, civil engineering, electrical and electrotechnical engineering, surveying, planning development and energy management systems.
